She has extensive experience with planning, researching, writing and developing strategic content for television networks, businesses and charity groups. Alex specialises in the television interview. Alex has always been passionate about television and storytelling. Her extensive career is evidence of this.

Alex is the Founder and Director of Belladonna Media.

For more than 25 years, Alex has worked in television as a producer, journalist and documentary maker. Alex’s experience spans a wide spectrum of programming including documentaries, investigative journalism, entertainment, news and current affairs.

Most recently, Alex was Executive Producer and Director on the highly acclaimed documentary series Ice Wars, which aired in February 2017 on the ABC.

In Alex’s 16 years at 60 Minutes, she produced more than 200 stories in her role as a Producer, and as Chief of Staff she was responsible for a team of over 40 and supervised some 600 original productions. Her work contributed to a 15% growth in ratings.

Alex has also produced many ground-breaking stories in her work with Sunday Night on Channel 7 and A Current Affair on Channel 9.

Alex thrives under pressure and loves a challenge. She is vibrant, creative and has a spotless reputation for delivering high quality work, on time and within budget. 

Alex is a specialist in developing on air talent with all levels of experience to bring out their best qualities and make their work shine. She is expert in constructing and conducting interviews, and how to present. An astute media adviser to NGOs, her coaching style teaches interviewees to be personable in front of the camera and give their best responses - no matter what the situation.

When she's not working, you'll most likely find her at bootcamp on Bondi Beach, exploring the cafes of Sydney or sailing on the harbour.
